Dubai is utilizing Jova Digital’s smart tellers to replace employees for performing routine civic operations.

Accessibility:

From city centers to shopping malls and education campuses, citizens can now enjoy a smart teller in easily accessible locations to efficiently perform routine operations like renewing and printing a driver’s license, identity card or permit.

The smart tellers feature innovative identification methods, including ICT, magnetic and contactless card reading, palm reading, barcode and QR scanners, and a digital signature pad. The tellers each contain an A4 laser printer, custom thermal printer and an embosser to easily process and dispense the required material. In turn, the tellers accept checks, POS, bank notes and coins, and give change with both notes and coins.

The smart tellers also offer a hotline service to give users live, face-to-face interaction with qualified personnel to deliver a highly personalized and differentiated experience that is also cost effective and efficient.

Railway Bill Validation Solutions

Scope:

Jova’s smart tellers are being used to power consumer transactions in a massive railway project in Azerbaijan.

To date, 15 ticket vending machines and 40 turnstiles are operational in two stations. The plans ultimately call for 1,000 ticket vending machines in 200 train stations throughout Azerbaijan, making it one of the largest installations of its kind in Central Asia.

Technology:

The smart tellers use roller friction technology that directly transport notes into the recycling chamber, resulting in maximum uptime and operational cost reduction. With powerful anti-stringing technology and a high first-time acceptance rate, the tellers are equipped with an industry-leading sensing package for the highest levels of security.
